Ken's love of history spans a vast period of time and very diverse cultures. His main historical knowledge is of the period between the Second World War and modern day. With a special interests in Allied and Axis WW II Armor, infantry equipment and modern NATO and Soviet Armor.

Much of his work also reflects his interest in the Korean War Pershings and Pattons .He is interested in figure painting as well. We have been contacted by many different people about having us build a model or models for them to add to their

collection. These folks include history  buffs, militaria collectors, and people who simply want a collection of models but lack the time, patience, tools or skill to create them.

Perhaps you lack the time, talent or desire to create the visionary models you've always wanted in your collection. Thenoblehaus creates scale replicas that are truly works of art. Our specialties are AFV, APC. IFV, figures, vignettes and small dioramas of any scale, from any era. They are now accessible and affordable for you. We also do figures of many different scales.

We have chosen to specialize in military vehicles of all types and work in both plastic and resin or almost any other media you choose. We very rarely work on cars, aircraft, commercial trucks, and commercial vehicles. We have also done numerous works in the past on architectural buildings for model railroad fans (from kit only we no longer offer scratch building ion this area).

Thenoblehaus will create any level of art for you, from the simplest out-of-the-box model, to a completely detailed, museum quality scale replica. Our standards are always the highest, approaching each project as an interactive experience between artist and collector. With over 34 years of modeling and art experience of the lead artist alone and a multitude of awards by members of our team, Thenoblehaus can make the vision of your collection a reality.

Please look through the gallery section of our website to see some of the award-winning models we've created, then feel free to contact us with any questions you might have.

Our modeling philosophy is simple...This is art, we are all for accuracy and meticulous research and do our fair share of it. At the end of an assignment, if It looks good, the client is happy with it, I don't particularly get concerned if a mantlet is 1mm to short or long in scale, etc. If it looks first-class, then I'm by and large pleased, as this is an art form.

We believe there is no wrong way to model just different ways of looking at how to attack a project. We enjoy using resin conversions, brass photo etch, and other aftermarket parts, and will scratch build when necessary. Although we don't generally scratch entire models anymore, but have nothing but admiration for those who still do!

The biggest problem in contracting for custom model work is to determine the precise costs and time involved to complete a project. Why, because building a realistic model or diorama is as much an art as it is the construction - and art is difficult to estimate exactly.

Having a Custom Model Built

With our system, you are always in control. No surprises. Our system functions efficiently, we will first work with you through a series of personal e-mail meetings or telephone consultations. Our purpose in all these meetings is to determine precisely what your needs or wants are. Once we evaluate all the information we have gathered from you, we will provide you with a written quotation stating our price and delivery date for a first-class result.

If you decide to make changes to your project during construction, our fees for the services we provide, as well as the material costs you incur, may be affected. This is where our pricing system is so beneficial. You can forecast the impact of any changes and know if you are staying within your budget. The bottom line, our system helps to insure that your project remains an enjoyable experience for all.

For the most part, the base model from which we begin to form a collector's piece is usually a commercially available plastic kit. After extensive hours of detailing and finishing, the final product is nothing like the manufacturers envisioned! Quality of workmanship and accurate attention to detail are our trademark.

Depending upon the client's wishes, we can mount the final piece on one of our KC Kastings diorama bases or vignette bases or a nicely finished wood base. For further information about how we may assist you with your next Armor project, please contact us at any of the addresses on our “Contact Us” page. We will be able to confirm your wishes and provide you with accurate production time and cost projections.

Please visit the “MS (modeling services) Standard Pricing” page for a better idea of our pricing policies and for more info on how to commission a model. We do commissions for all sorts of collectors from individuals to groups, companies and museums.

Thanks for considering us for your next modeling project. We look forward to working with you to provide you with a unique and personal treasure that we hope will give you years of satisfaction.
